Parent Council

Thank you for your interest in the Parent Council. We are an organization that supports teachers, students and the families of the Day School. Your support goes directly to the mission of Parent Council, whose involvement in the school community includes the following:

We coordinate volunteers for:

  • Carpool
  • The Library
  • Book Fairs
  • Stay 'n Play
  • Speech/Vision/Hearing Testing

We host events including:

  • Annual Picnic
  • Show your Love for the Day School Auction
  • Grandfriends Celebration
  • Field Day
  • Aloha Party 

We support teachers by:

  • Coordinating catered lunches and treats throughout the year
  • Praying over them and their classrooms
  • Hosting an annual Christmas luncheon 

We also:

  • Create the Yearbook
  • Run the Spirit Shop and Day School Duds - your opportunity to buy gently-used uniforms
  • Oversee Room Parents
  • Oversee the School Partnership Campaign

Our annual dues are $80 a family and are payable to HPPDS. These funds are used to facilitate our organization which has a central purpose of making HPPDS the best school it can be! Please email Parent Council President, Margaret Kelley, with your questions, concerns, suggestions or ideas.
