Parent Council

Parent Council at The Day School is an organization that supports teachers, students and the families of The Day School. Our involvement in the school community includes the following:

We coordinate volunteers for:

  • Carpool
  • The Library
  • Book Fairs
  • Stay 'n Play
  • Speech/Vision/Hearing Testing
  • Classroom Parties

We host events including:

  • Annual Picnic
  • Show your Love for the Day School Auction
  • Grandfriends Celebration
  • Field Day
  • Aloha Party

We support teachers by:

  • Coordinating catered lunches and treats throughout the year
  • Praying over them and their classrooms
  • Hosting an annual Christmas luncheon

We also:

  • Create the Yearbook
  • Run the Spirit Shop and Day School Duds - your opportunity to buy gently-used uniforms
  • Oversee Room Parents
  • Oversee the School Partnership Campaign

Our annual dues are $80 a family, which enable us to facilitate our organization whose central purpose is making The Day School the best school it can be!
